Four weeks ago Jonathon fell of the monkey bars at school and broke both bones in his forearm. Because it happened during PE at school he was given the royal treatment including an ambulance ride to the hospital. He's a huge fan of firemen (he even received a get well card in the mail from them this week). These are pictures of cast #1 & cast #3 (I didn't get a picture of cast #2 which was green).

As many of you know my youngest brother Ammon died in a boating accident in Omaha on August 3rd. One of my favorite photos is of Ammon when he was 13 years old holding Mickey as a baby. They are both smiling in the picture...it just warms my heart. Of all our children Mickey remembers him the most and has some fond memories of skateboarding and playing video games with him. Ammon was a great little brother and a wonderful Uncle. I regret that we didn't get to see him more often before he passed away, but I'm comforted in knowing that we will see him again some day.
Beautiful Baby Sydney. What could any little girl ask for other than four older brothers who adore her? I believe I posted that she was born on July 18th.....actually she was born on July 19th. I entered the hospital the night of the 18th while Mike was out sailing with some friends. Whew...what a night?!?! Fortunatley he was there to welcome his little girl into the world. We love you Sydney.
